OUR MISSION

The mission of Fitchfield Foundation is to provide support for music education, burial assistance for indigent musicians, and musical services for the bereaved. Connie and Dwight have held a music ministry in New Orleans for over five decades and thereby have developed a deep understanding of the healing power of music. Music and service are the essence of this dynamic couple. Fitchfield Foundation solidifies their commitment of serving through music by providing the structure and resources that can improve the quality of life for the underserved in the artistic community. It will also enable them to expand their music services by deploying other local musicians for bereavement services so that families in need can have the ministry of music at their loved one’s funeral. Connie and Dwight Fitch releases new album A Covid Christmas

New Orleans, LA “For Immediate Release”

Connie and Dwight Fitch announce their return, bringing a mix of soul and gospel flair

with a brand new Christmas Album “A Covid Christmas”. This is the fifth studio album

by the dynamic duo and is the followup to their 2007 Christmas release Oh Come all Ye

Faithful” Sponsored by Liberty Bank.

The album was recorded in the FitchField Project Studio in New Orleans during

quarantine and highlights tracks “Where’s Your Mask Rudolph” as the first Single.

Where’s your Mask Rudolph was inspired to raise awareness of the importance of mask

wearing to mitigate the spread of Covid 19 during the global pandemic. “It was time to

make something fun”, says Dwight Fitch, “something to uplift peoples spirit during some

very difficult times”. The album is a great mix of traditional Christmas along with jazz,

gospel and pop arrangements.

Connie and Dwight have been making music together for almost 50 years and have

discovered what most musicians spend lifetimes working for, to make music that makes

people feel good. The couple has high hopes for the success of this album. Connie

describes the release as something universal for everyone to enjoy.
